GENERAL POLICIES
The guidelines below represent General Policies that Militrade Inc. places on its Sellers/Buyers. Sellers remain responsible for ensuring that their sales are permitted by law in the locations of both the seller and the buyer. Because laws vary greatly, users should be particularly careful about shipping items inter-state or internationally without first checking the appropriate regulations.
Militrade expects all Sellers to treat potential Buyers with respect by listing their items accurately and honestly. If Feedback or Testimonials prove this not to be the case, Militrade reserves the right to limit or to disallow a Seller's access to the website. Sellers will be given a fair opportunity to respond to any complaints to share their side on any issue. Sellers are asked to resolve Buyer conflicts (should they arise), whenever possible in a timely and respectful manner.
Offensive Material
Militrade will disallow listings that promote or glorify hatred, violence, any form of racial intolerance, or items that promote organizations (such as Nazis, neo-Nazis, KKK, and Aryan Nation). Due to the historic significance of "true relics and collectables" from WWII we do allow the listing of authentic memorabilia even if it displays symbols which may be offensive to some people. When selling potentially offensive "true historic pieces", the seller should not in any way promote or encourage racial intolerance.
IInternational users are responsible for researching their own local laws relative to their right to legally possess, buy, or sell items that display the Nazis, or the SS symbols. In some countries it is a criminal offense to possess or sell anything associated with hate organizations.
Firearms, Curios and Relics
Militrade does not allow the sale of any Firearm that is not listed as a "Curio and Relic" due its historical significance and value by the ATF. Curios and Relics are most Pre-1946 weapons issued by the military for use in military combat service. Please consult ATF federal regulations for specific rules and guidelines. In order to engage in the sale or purchase of "Curios and Relics" on the Militrade site, a person must be either a Licensed Collector or a Licensed Dealer by the ATF.
As laws vary by state and local government, it is your responsibility to insure that all laws (state, local and federal) are strictly followed. In some cases coordinating your purchase through a Licensed Firearms Dealer or a Licensed Dealer Curios and Relics may be required. Please consult the ATF should you have any questions or contact a local dealer.
Ammunition and Bullets
Militrade does not permit the listing or sale of any live ammunition or live bullet rounds on the website. This includes any ammunition with propellant intact (such as gunpowder) or blank ammunition. Militrade does allow the listing or sale of empty casings and bullets that are not in a "live mode". This includes demo rounds, spent cartridges, used projectiles, or any other "non-fireable" article.
Replicas
Militrade permits the listing or sale of Replica or imitation "look-alike" articles as long as the listing clearly states that the items are "not original or real". In addition, in the case of replica or imitation firearms, the seller must insure that all items meet federal guidelines regarding permanent markings (i.e. a blaze orange plug mounted in the barrel) and that the item must not be readily convertible to shoot a projectile.
